Timothy Sipaia
- Forklift
Tim joined ASWEFA in 2024 as an instructor training in Forklifts. Tim trains students to operate machinery safely and confidently with his calm and patient demeanor. Though new to ASWEFA, Tim has already earned a reputation for his friendly personality and his approachable nature that makes him a great fit for the team. Students frequently praise his ability to keep training sessions both enjoyable and informative. His focus on ensuring students leave with the skills and confidence they need has made him a standout instructor.

Matthew Thomson
Matthew joined ASWEFA in 2023 and is an instructor and assessor. Matthew trains students on Forklifts, as well as Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers. Matthew has a great sense of humor and an awesome, down-to-earth personality, which helps him form strong connections with students. His teaching approach ensures that students leave confident in their skills, having enjoyed their training.
Feedback often highlights how he makes courses interactive and enjoyable while emphasizing the importance of safety. Some students have said, "Matt made the training fun and interactive, while stressing the importance of personal & team safety." Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time at the speedway and different racing events.

Jeffrey Young
Jeffrey joined ASWEFA in 2017 and is an instructor and assessor delivering Forklift training and forklift unit standards training as part of our school course, helping students gain credits and earn their forklift license.
Jeffrey is known for his knowledgeable training from years of experience operating forklifts and training with ASWEFA and his ability to weave in his sense of humor to ease students' nerves and make the courses both informative and enjoyable. As a member of the Penrith Panthers fan base, you can ask him about how his NRL tipping is going this year!

Lucas Harron
Lucas joined ASWEFA in 2013 and has been a key part of the team ever since. As an instructor and assessor, he trains students in Forklifts, Dangerous Goods endorsements, Wheels, Tracks and Rollers, and MEWPs. Over the years, Lucas has played a significant role in ASWEFA's growth, helping lead the Auckland team of instructors.
Lucas is known for his patience, approachability, and ability to adapt his teaching style to meet the needs of every student. He is especially skilled at making complex topics easy to understand, even for those who may face language barriers. His friendly and respectful demeanor creates a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable and supported throughout their training.
Luke is a St George Illawarra Dragons fan, ask him about his NRL tips for the week and see where he stands on the ladder.

Geraint Edwards
Geraint joined ASWEFA in 2022 and is an instructor and assessor based in our Hamilton branch. He trains students in Forklifts, Dangerous Goods endorsements, and delivers forklift unit standards as part of our school course, helping students gain credits and earn their forklift license.
Known for his clear explanations and approachable style, Geraint is passionate about helping students achieve those lightbulb moments during training. As ASWEFA's resident Welshman, Geraint brings a wealth of stories from his travels around the world. Outside of work, Geraint is a beekeeper for his own hives and produces fresh honey for the team. Anything Apiary, G's your man for a chat!

Chris joined ASWEFA in 2019 and has earned a reputation for delivering clear, straightforward training that makes even tricky concepts easy to understand. As an instructor and assessor, Chris runs courses for Forklifts, MEWPs, and Dangerous Goods endorsements, while also helping school students gain forklift licenses and earn credits on our Unit Standards Forklift Course.
Students frequently highlight his helpfulness and ability to guide them through the learning process smoothly. Chris is always ready to support his team, ensuring training sessions are run efficiently and to the highest standard. And if you're a Canberra Raiders fan, he's your guy for a good chat!

Heremaia Melaugh
Heremaia joined ASWEFA in 2015 and brings a wealth of knowledge from nearly a decade of training students in Forklifts, Dangerous Goods Endorsement, and Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers. Students often praise his confident demeanor and firm stance on safety, and with a decade of experience, he's a skilled instructor and assessor for ASWEFA.
Originally from Wellington, Heremaia's friendly nature makes him approachable, whether it's for training advice or sharing stories about life in the capital. (You can ask him about his pool table skills as Heremaia is a frequent player)

Trysen Myers
Trysen joined ASWEFA part-time in 2016, working in the office as an administrator while stepping in as an instructor when needed. In 2022, he transitioned into a full-time role, becoming the Hamilton Branch Manager as well as an instructor and assessor. He trains students in Forklifts, Wheels, Tracks, Rollers, MEWPs, Dangerous Goods Endorsements, and Forklift Unit Standards for school courses, helping students earn credits and a forklift license.
With a training philosophy centered on patience and empathy, Trysen is known for his calm and supportive teaching approach. He believes that no well-intentioned student purposely makes mistakes and always focuses on helping students build confidence through clear explanations and hands-on learning. His approachable style makes even the most nervous students feel at ease.
Outside of training, Trysen is a devoted Brisbane Broncos supporter and never misses a chance to back them in ASWEFA's NRL tipping competition—a passion that often comes up in conversation with his students!

Jamiee Black
Jamiee joined the ASWEFA team in 2013 and is the CEO of our Call Centre division. Jamiee has been an instrumental contributor to the growth of ASWEFA, as when she started we had only 5 full-time employees. Jamiee's customer-driven focus and "no problem" attitude makes her outstanding in this role. Jamiee's understanding of all aspects of the business from the ground up makes her a wealth of knowledge that the ASWEFA team can tap into to ensure all requirements are met at all times.
An original NRL Warriors supporter makes Jamiee a loud and passionate supporter at any game she attends and highlights her optimistic attitude to life!

Rozina Tangaroa
Rozina joined the ASWEFA team in 2024 and is based at our Hamilton branch. As an admin, she plays a key role in managing contracts for ASWEFA's training initiatives and handling customer bookings. Rozina is known for her friendly demeanor and quick learning, always stepping in to assist in different areas. She's dedicated to ensuring that every student receives an excellent ASWEFA experience from start to finish.

Jenna Wetselaar
Jenna joined the ASWEFA team in 2022 and is based at our Hamilton branch. She plays a key role in keeping everything running smoothly by managing customer bookings, handling accounts, and being the friendly face that welcomes students to the site. Jenna's empathetic approach ensures that students feel valued and well-supported throughout their ASWEFA experience. Her commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every interaction, making sure that both the training process and the overall experience are positive for all.

Paige Myers
Paige started full time with ASWEFA in 2022. Paige works hard, every second of every day she works, to provide our clients with an immediate response time for certification and enquiries. Paige is an instrumental part of the ASWEFA team by also ensuring unit standards are lodged and completing moderation requirements to ensure high standards of training are being met continuously.

Zoe Willets
Zoe started at ASWEFA in 2018. Zoe's personality is like injecting a ray of sunshine into your day as her energy seems endless. Zoe helps our customers with their enquiries, along with scheduling our training and strategizing on upcoming course requirements. Her focus on what is best for the customer and her ASWEFA team ensures ASWEFA clients constantly provide 5-star reviews.

Treena Myers
Treena founded the company in 2001 and remains as committed and passionate to it today as she did the first day it was created. Treena leads by example and supports her team throughout their roles to achieve their best and maximize their potential. Never losing sight of the important role ASWEFA has in providing A Safe Working Environment For All, she continues to strive to ensure ASWEFA remains at the top of their customers' list as preferred suppliers.
This is done by ensuring staff are upskilled and being the first to implement new training options such as ASWEFA were the first providers to offer online training direct to customers. Also by implementing new training products ASWEFA can ensure their customers have the best options available. Treena's vision for the future is bright for the ASWEFA team and their clients alike.
